Power V Drill
What this drill helps fix
hitters to achieve and hold the “Power V” position—barrel below hands, palms up/down, bat tip aligned up the middle or opposite field—to reinforce proper barrel path and wrist alignment at launch. It also enforces chin-on-back-shoulder posture to prevent pulling off the ball and maintain plate coverage.
Why fixing this matters
Without this position, hitters often cast, roll over, or drop the barrel early—costing consistent line drives, power to all fields, and adjustability to off-speed pitches inside or away.
